Howie For The House - A Choice for a Change
I relocated to Thermopolis a little over four years ago with my wife Suzanne. I grew up in that small town back east, New York City, and attended the City College of New York and the New School for Social Research. I moved to Wyoming to manage a rail car repair facility in Shoshoni . I have recently opened Discover Thermopolis/Thermopolis Print Zone a printing and copy shop combined with a store showcasing local artists and craftspeople . While I am relatively new to Wyoming, I have embraced a wonderful community as it has embraced me. I have been an active member of the Thermopolis-Hot Springs community since my arrival.
My goal has been to enrich the community through the arts and culture and to encourage economic development by supporting many local organizations and institutions.

I am running to represent the residents of House District 28 because I believe that there should always be a dialog about issues and a choice for people when casting a vote for someone to represent them. I also believe that a good representative listens to their constituents and puts their needs and desires above personal agendas.
Serving the voters of House District 28 would be an honor and with that honor is the commitment in time to serve them, not only as their representative in Cheyenne, but to be available to them on an ongoing basis after being elected. Representation without constant contact with one’s constituents is not representation.
Economic diversification is the key to a fiscally strong Wyoming and Big Horn Basin.
In light of declining state revenues, I envision a path forward that includes the expansion of and development of new and diverse economic opportunities throughout the state. These may include expansion in the service-sector, recreation and tourism, alternative energy, energy-efficiency, technology and the visual and performing arts.
